KinderLearner Terms of Use

About these terms

KinderLearner is provided by Big Apple Digital LLC. These terms describe use of the learning app, optional parent-account service, preview website and support. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children’s use and for managing online-account choices. Public iPhone and iPad availability is coming soon.

These service terms do not replace Apple’s standard end-user license agreement for an app distributed through the App Store. See Apple’s Standard EULA. Any future custom app license must be separately supplied and reviewed.

Parent accounts and responsible use

Accounts are optional. Only use a parent email address you control and protect verification codes from disclosure. Use child nicknames and provide only information you have authority to share. The parent is responsible for choosing whether guest learning records are uploaded for sync.

Practice can work offline. Sync requires internet access and can be delayed or interrupted. Keep device date and time settings accurate, and check sync status before relying on another device’s copy. Do not attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service or misuse another family’s information.

Learning information, not a guaranteed outcome

KinderLearner is intended to complement parent participation and classroom learning. The preview describes the planned learning experience; illustrations and sample progress cards are examples, not results for a real child or a promise of achievement.

Content is not a diagnostic, medical or developmental assessment, an admissions service, or a substitute for advice from your child’s teacher or a qualified professional. Children learn at different paces. Adults should supervise activities and choose safe, age-appropriate objects.

Using the preview responsibly

You may browse and share links to these pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not misuse the site, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, copy product materials for resale or submit information you do not have permission to share. Respect applicable intellectual-property rights.

Availability, stars and payments

The current app targets iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 or later. A public release date and App Store download link have not been announced. Features may change before release. Viewing these pages does not create an account, start a trial, initiate a subscription or authorize a charge.

The current app’s Treasure Room uses stars earned through activities, not real-money purchases. Stars and treasures are virtual learning rewards, not currency or a cash balance. No real-money in-app purchasing is implemented in the reviewed build.

Existing NYC School Ratings purchases remain governed by their original terms. A website subscription should not be assumed to include an app entitlement unless expressly offered. Any future paid app offering must show its price and applicable terms before purchase.

Changes and your rights

We may update the preview content and these terms as the product develops. The date on this page identifies the current version. Nothing in these terms excludes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. These pages do not promise uninterrupted service or Apple approval.
