KinderLearner · Ages 3–5

A Smarter Pre-K Learning App for Ages 3–5

Playful learning that adapts to your child.

Pre-K is about much more than memorizing letters and numbers. Children are beginning to understand sounds, quantities, patterns, emotions, sequences, rules and how the world fits together.

KinderLearner turns those early skills into short, playful learning adventures — and adjusts what comes next based on what your child demonstrates.

KinderLearner builds an evolving picture of what your child understands and uses it to select useful activities.

Beginning Sounds

Your child recognizes several letters but still needs practice listening for the first sound in spoken words.

Try this tonight · 3 min

At breakfast, say: moon · cat · milk. Ask:

“Which two begin with the same sound?”

A little practice, woven into real life.

Designed around play, not worksheets

KinderLearner combines guided play, short instruction, puzzles, movement, matching, sorting, drawing, tracing, stories, memory challenges and parent-child activities.

Learning should feel like discovering something —
not completing a worksheet.

A few things parents ask

Is this Pre-K learning app suitable for a three-year-old?

KinderLearner is designed for ages approximately 3–5 at the Pre-K stage. A grown-up can guide short sessions and choose real-world activities that fit their child’s interests and comfort.

Does my child need to know their letters first?

No. Pre-K activities include listening, beginning sounds, quantities, shapes and patterns, alongside early letter recognition. Practice follows what your child demonstrates rather than assuming every child starts in the same place.

Does school readiness mean learning to read early?

School readiness is broader than reading. Language, curiosity, number sense, attention, memory, emotions and independence all matter. KinderLearner is a practice companion, not an admissions test or a developmental assessment.

Can we practice without worksheets?

Yes. Sound hunts, counting everyday objects and repeating clapping patterns turn familiar routines into parent-guided practice away from the screen.

A little help with the bigger picture

NYC Schools Ratings helps parents understand schools. KinderLearner helps parents understand how their child is learning.

Personalized learning. Practical guidance.

Prepare for Kindergarten without turning home into school

School readiness isn’t about racing ahead. It’s about building strong foundations in language, number sense, memory, attention, reasoning, curiosity and confidence.

Know how your child is learning. Know what to do next.
